Verse of the Day

Here I go again. Leaving many days between posts. The house sale may be going through. I am expecting an offer in the next day or so from a young couple. They were very excited when they walked through a few weeks ago. Also, I have been neglecting the postings of pictures and so forth. I am including the drawing of Grampy that Bobby did while playing dominoes with Grampy Kelly.
The color has been enhancedsome so that it will print more clearly on a laser and/or inkjet printer. Many of you have been interested or are interested in a copy. Grampy's friend really did an amazing job of capturing his personality and heart.

I have also included a post of our baby girl Breanna (Breezer). She just got all spiffed up and ready for her first Christmas with her new dad. She posed ever so nicely for me in front of our Christmas tree.

My house went up on the market a few weeks before Thanksgiving. Christie showed it once while I was in Chicago. I get to show it tomorrow. Hopefully, the interest level will be higher. I am thinking of adding a home warranty into the mix. Currently, it is FSBO and listed on Owners.com (ADP5140) and GGFSBO.com. Maybe, I need to add to the description to give people on the internet search level a better feel for the property. The calls have been kind of low the last week or so. Hopefully, that is just in response to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Pray for a quick sell. Otherwise, I will have to go the realtor route and give up the commission percentage. Right now, I am giving up the mortgage at a monthly rate. Soon, the two will meet and the decision of realtor becomes inevitable.

As requested, here is the first post to my blog. I have had this blog for some time, but never really used it. We just had Thanksgiving in Florida with the family. Christie enjoyed getting to meet everyone and really enjoyed the pies from Grampy. We all enjoy the pies! Elderberry turned out to be one of her favorites. She had never heard of an elderberry, but was very happy to learn of it. Travel back home was shorter than going, thankfully. Traffic had a much smoother flow going home.
We must have been running on a caffeine rush or something. When we arrived home, we proceeded to get down all the Christmas decorations and set up our Christmas tree. This is our first married Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are excited!
